Day 1 - Seattle, WA
Arrive in Seattle. Transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city. A welcome dinner takes place this evening at the Seattle Space Needle, icon of the "Emerald City". (Overnight in Seattle, WA)

Day 2 - Portland, Oregon
Seattle, the metropolis of the Pacific Northwest, was built upon the hills between Lake Washington and Puget Sound. A guided city tour unveiling the local history and lore of Seattle will end with a scatter lunch at the delectable Pikes Place Market. Glimpse lofty 14,000-foot Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens as you travel south. Stop at the volcano visitor center to learn of the dramatic 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens before you arrive in Portland.  (Overnight in Portland, OR)

Day 3 - Mount Hood and Timberline Lodge
A full day of sightseeing offers stops at Crown Point and picture time at 620-foot Multnomah Falls before you continue along the Columbia River Gorge to the mighty Bonneville Locks and Dam. Visit the salmon ladders and learn about the navigational locks system with this busy river. Later, stop at the quaint and bountiful River Bend Farm and Country Store in the fruit-growing region of the Hood River Valley. Check out the fabulous produce and gourmet fruit products before you ascend to the 6,000-foot level at Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood. Enjoy the spectacular vistas of the surrounding Cascade Range mountains, then return to Portland for the evening. (Overnight in Portland, OR)

Day 4 - Newport, Oregon
Beautiful Newport bay Before departing Portland, you will visit Washington Park, home of the International Rose Test Gardens and learn about these hearty flowers. Then head for Oregon's fabled wine country, with a stop at a local vineyard for a taste and personal tour. As you arrive at the rugged Oregon coastline, enjoy driving along scenic resort areas with outstanding views of the craggy shore. A visit to the highly-acclaimed Oregon Coast Aquarium, featuring indoor and outdoor exhibits of Northwest marine habitat, is on the agenda before you check into your hotel for the evening. (Overnight in Newport, OR)

Day 5 - Gold Beach, Oregon
Journey southward through the Siuslaw National Forest to the Oregon Sand Dunes National Recreation Area for a thrilling sand buggy ride over 300-foot dunes. Continue south for a stop in Coos Bay to tour a myrtle wood factory and gift shop, where you can see master craftsmen at work carving wooden items made from this native hardwood only found in Oregon and Israel. Drive along the coastal highway to Gold Beach. (Overnight in Gold Beach, OR)

Day 6 - Gold Beach, Oregon
An exciting experience is in store this morning as you ride a jet boat on the Rogue River through pristine wilderness. A naturalist guide will point out local wildlife. Cross into California and journey through Redwood National Park to see some of the world's biggest and most majestic trees. As you enter Eureka, known for its abundant Victorian homes, see the Carson Mansion, once the dwelling of a West Coast lumber baron. Dinner is special as you visit the Samoa Cookhouse and Museum for a lumberjack feast. (Overnight in Eureka, CA)

Day 7 - San Francisco, California
San Francisco's famous cable cars From the Pacific coastline, we travel inland through Mendocino and Sonoma wine country. Cross the bay via the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge for a scatter dinner and exploration of Fisherman's Wharf. Arrive at your airport hotel for your overnight this evening. (Overnight in San Francisco)

Day 8 - San Francisco, California
Following an included breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight, full of wonderful memories of the Pacific Northwest.
